The DHO office said that 5,726 children up to 10 years of age, 5,343 children aged 11 to 20 tested positive for corona in Islamabad, while 11,734 people aged 21 to 30 and 31 to 45 years tested positive. 16,429 people have tested positive for corona.

According to the statistics, 11074 people between the ages of 46 and 60, 5913 people between the ages of 61 and 80 and 539 people over the age of 81 were confirmed to have corona.

Corona was confirmed in 121 children in a single day in Islamabad yesterday, after which a total of more than five thousand six hundred children up to ten years of age have been infected with corona in Islamabad so far.

According to details, the third wave of corona virus is becoming dangerous in Pakistan. In view of this situation, an important meeting of the National Command and Operations Center will be held again today, in which federal and relevant officials will participate.

The meeting will consider the implementation of SOPs and government measures, including the situation in Corona, while considering possible lockdown strategies in specific districts.

It may be recalled that a special meeting chaired by the head of National Command and Control Center Asad Umar had imposed a complete ban on indoor and outdoor events across the country.

The NCOC said indoor and outdoor weddings would be banned from April 5 and the ban would take effect immediately.

The NCOC had also made it clear that the provinces would have the option of a time frame for banning wedding ceremonies.

The statement said that the NCOC will provide maps of Corona Hotspot to the provinces.

The government of Pakistan has issued guidelines for the Astrazina Corona vaccine, which can be administered to people over the age of 18.

According to the details, the government has approved SOPs for AstraZeneca Corona vaccine, SOPs have been approved by the National Expert Committee, SOPs will assist in the storage, delivery and use of AstraZeneca vaccines.

The guidelines state that the astraZeneca vaccine can be given to people over the age of 18, not to people under the age of 18.

According to the guidelines, the astrazone vaccine is safe for pregnant and lactating mothers, however, it cannot be given to people with fever and corona positive patients, while corona can be given to healthy people.

The guidelines state that people who are vaccinated may have mild headaches, body aches and mild fever. The two doses of the vaccine will have an interval of 12 weeks. The vaccine will be given to health workers and citizens.

According to SOPs, the covachield vaccine is a joint invention of Oxford University and Sweden. The vaccine must be stored at a temperature of 2 to 8 degrees.

Sources said that Pakistan will get the Australasian vaccine free of cost from Kovex, WHO has given permission for emergency use of AstraZeneca vaccine.

Covid-19 Cases increasing rapidly across Pakistan

There has been a worrying increase in corona cases, with 44 more corona deaths across the country in the last 24 hours.

The National Command and Operations Center has released the latest figures on the rising number of cases and deaths of corona virus across the country. According to the NCOC, 3,667 new cases were reported across the country in 24 hours.

In the country, 40 patients lost their lives in one day, bringing the total number of deaths to 13,799.

The NCOC says that in the last 24 hours, another 3,667  cases have been reported in the country, after which the number of positive cases have risen to 626,802.

In 24 hours, 41,960 Corona tests were conducted out of which 3667 cases were reported positive. The positive corona test rate was 8.73%.

The National Command and Operations Center has so far conducted 9,773,993  tests in the country.

The number of active cases of corona in the country has reached 31,107, so far 581,852 corona patients have recovered.

Indian cricket board has assured the Visas of Pakistan Cricket team

According to sources, significant progress is expected in the ICC chief executive meeting regarding the visas of the Pakistani team, as the BCCI has agreed to assure the national team for Indian visas.

Indian media claims that the BCCI has got clearance for the visas of the Pakistani team. The BCCI will assure the Pakistani team of visas at the ICC meeting to be held later this month.

On the other hand, the PCB spokesperson denied the reports and said that the ICC has not given us any response so far. The response is expected at the ICC chief executive meeting to be held later this month.

It may be recalled that in a recent letter to the ICC, Ehsan Mani had sought assurances for the issuance of visas for Pakistani players, officials and journalists, and had hinted that the event would be relocated from India to UAE.

Covid -19 third Wave is out of control in Pakistan

The number of corona cases and deaths continues to rise across the country, with 40 more corona deaths in 24 hours and 3449 new corona cases reported.

The National Command and Operations Center has released figures on the rising number of cases and deaths of corona virus across the country. According to the NCOC, 40 corona patients died in the country in 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths 13757.

The NCOC says that in the last 24 hours, another 3,457 crore cases have been reported in the country, bringing the number of positive cases to 619,259.

In 24 hours, 42,845 Corona tests were conducted out of which 3449 cases were reported positive.

The National Command and Operations Center has so far conducted 9,691,087 tests in the country.

The number of active cases of corona in the country has reached 24,592 while 578,314 corona patients have recovered so far.

A new strategy has been developed to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the federal capital.

According to details, the Ministry of National Health has divided Islamabad into 3 zones, Red, Orange and Green Orange zones related to the federal capital Corona. The most sensitive sectors regarding Corona will be the red zone, which includes Bhara Kahu, Bani Gala, I-10 and I-10/2.

Similarly, Sector G9, G9 One, G10, G10 Four, Sectors F11 and F11 One of Islamabad have also been made part of the red zone. There have been 64 corona cases in Bani Gala.

The Orange Zone includes G9, 2 sub-sectors of I-8, 2 sub-sectors of Sector G, 2 sub-sectors of Sector I and 7 sub-sectors of Sector G.

Korang Town, Alipurfrash, PWD Society, Ghauri Town, Bhara Kahu, Tarlai and Pakistan Town of Islamabad will be part of the Green Zone.

The NCOC says that in the last 24 hours, another 3,095 crore cases have been reported in the country, bringing the number of positive cases to 615,810.

Sadiq Sanjrani wins Senate Election third time in a Row

PTI’s Sadiq Sanjarani was elected Chairman Senate for the third time in a row with 48 votes while Pakistan Democratic Movement PDM’s Yousuf Raza Gilani lost with 42 votes. His 7 votes were rejected.

Yousuf Raza Gilani’s polling agent Farooq H Naik objected to the rejected votes, which were rejected by the presiding officer and Sadiq Sanjarani was declared the winner.

The Presiding Officer administered the oath of office to Sadiq Sanjarani as Chairman Senate.

98 out of 99 senators cast their votes for the election of Chairman Senate. A member of Jamaat-e-Islami did not cast his vote.

A meeting of the Senate was held under the chairmanship of Presiding Officer Syed Muzaffar Hussain Shah for the election of Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Senate. Members were called alphabetically and 98 members cast their votes.

Mushtaq Ahmed of Jamaat-e-Islami was called but he was not present. The presiding officer rang the bell and gave an extra minute and called Mushtaq Ahmed Khan but he was absent.

The Presiding Officer while briefing the members on the procedure for conducting the polls said that ballot papers for the post of Chairman Senate would be issued in green and the names of the candidates would be registered in Urdu.

The Presiding Officer said that the names of the voters will be called alphabetically. If there is a mistake on the ballot paper, tell them before putting it in the ballot box.

The presiding officer further said that mobile phones, cameras and other electronic devices are prohibited from being taken to the polling booth while the seal affixed on the ballot paper will be changed after 25 votes.

He further said that for your convenience, polling will be closed at 5 o’clock and then counting will take place. After counting, the elected candidate will be sworn in as Chairman Senate. After election of Chairman Senate, Deputy Chairman Senate will be elected.
