According to details, Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mehmood said in a press conference that it was decided to close educational institutions from class I to VIII till April 28, under which classes from class one to class VIII will be held on April 28 in the districts affected by Corona.

The 9th to 12th class educational institutions will remain closed till April 19, after which their cases will be under strict SOPs. It has been decided to conduct A and O level examinations as per the schedule.

When the NCOC meets again on April 28 to review the situation, it is reported that a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Federal Minister for Planning and Head of the NCOC Asad Omar, in which the Ministers of Education, Ministry of Health and NCOC officials attended the meeting. The meeting was briefed on the Corona situation in the country. Issues related to opening or closing of educational institutions were discussed at the meeting.
