Lahore Qalanders are difficult to beat in PSL 6 under Hafeez Batting

Lahore Qalandars defeated Quetta Gladiators by 9 wickets in the fourth match of Pakistan Super League 6 played at the National Stadium.

According to details, in the fourth match of the sixth season of Pakistan Super League (PSL), Quetta Gladiators batted first and gave Lahore Qalandars a target of 179 runs.

Chasing the Quetta Gladiators’ 179-run target, the Lahore Qalandars started the innings with the opening of Fakhar Zaman and Sohail Akhtar.

LQ openers formed an opening partnership of 64 runs after which Sohail Akhtar was dismissed for 21 runs. In the 9th over of the game, Lahore Qalandars captain Sohail Akhtar scored 21 runs on a total score of 64 and got out on the ball of Zahid Mahmood and returned to the pavilion.

Lahore Qalandars achieved the target of 179 runs for the loss of one wicket in 18.2 overs thanks to the smoky batting of Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Hafeez. Fakhar Zaman remained unbeaten on 82 and Mohammad Hafeez on 73.

Fakhar Zaman played an unbeaten innings of 82 off 52 balls with the help of 8 fours and 2 sixes. Muhammad Hafeez, who scored a half-century off just 24 balls, remained unbeaten on 73 off 33 balls with five fours and six sixes. Lahore Qalandars opener Fakhar Zaman was declared man of the match.

At the start of the match, Lahore Qalandars captain Sohail Akhtar won the toss and invited Quetta Gladiators captain Sarfraz Ahmed to bat.

Quetta Gladiators openers Tom Benton and Saeem Ayub started the innings for the team but they soon returned to the pavilion, with Tom Benton scoring 4 and Saeem Ayub scoring just 12 runs.
