
The Pakistan cricket team finalized its preparations by conducting a final training session of more than four hours before the first Test.
The first Test of the two-match Test series between Pakistan and New Zealand is being played at Mount Manganui from tomorrow and there are only two training sessions for the Test squad to train together before the first Test. Many have tried and the training sessions lasted for more than four hours.
In the training sessions, the sports staff also worked individually with the players on skills work.
Slip fielders play an important role in New Zealand conditions. Long drills were conducted for catch practice while the batsmen practiced well to play bouncers.

Pakistan’s possible playing XI for the first Test match could include:
Shan Masood, Abid Ali, Azhar Ali, Haris Sohail, Fawad Alam, Captain Wicketkeeper Muhammad Rizwan, Fahim Ashraf Yasir Shah, Naseem Shah, Muhammad Abbas and Shaheen Shah Afridi.
