
The second ODI between Pakistan and Zimbabwe is underway at the Pindi Cricket Stadium. Pakistan’s openers are batting aggressively in pursuit of an easy target of 207 runs.
In the first over, Imam-ul-Haq hit two fours. Imam-ul-Haq scored 34 while Abid Ali scored 21 runs. Pakistan has 64 runs in ten overs.
Earlier, winning the toss and playing first, Zimbabwe were all out for 206 in 45.1 overs.
The last Zimbabwean to be dismissed was Mamba, who was bowled cleanly by Mohammad Musa after scoring 11 runs.
Chamo Chibaba was dismissed by Haris Rauf, Craig Ervin returned the ball to Muhammad Musa while Brian Chari fell victim to Faheem Ashraf.
Similarly, Brendon Taylor also got caught on the ball of Iftikhar Ahmed after scoring 36 runs and the batsmen who came after him could also score 10 runs and Iftikhar Ahmed also piled them up.
Iftikhar Ahmed bowled well, dismissing Sikandar Raza and Tendai Chisoro. Iftikhar Ahmed took the fifth wicket by dismissing Sean Williams.
For Pakistan, Iftikhar Ahmed took five wickets while Mohammad Musa took two wickets.
Zimbabwe’s Taylor scored 36 while Sean Williams scored 75.
In the second ODI, two changes have been made in the Pakistan team, replacing Wahab Riaz and Haris Sohail with Haider Ali and Musa Khan.
Pakistan and Zimbabwe will play the third and final ODI on November 3.
According to the schedule, the first T20 match between host Pakistan and Zimbabwe will be played on November 7 in Rawalpindi. The second T20 match between the two teams will be played on November 8, while the third T20 match will be played on November 10 at the Pindi Stadium in Rawalpindi. Earlier, these matches were to be played in Lahore.
